DeZURIK Inc., a Minnesota-based valve manufacturer, has acquired Red Valve from Hillenbrand Inc., a public company headquartered in Batesville, Indiana.

“The addition of Red Valve to the DeZURIK portfolio of brands furthers our strategic initiative to advance the human condition by applying exceptional flow control expertise to the development of vital water and industrial infrastructure,” DeZURIK President and CEO Bryan Burns said. “Red Valve’s brand reputation and diverse product line complement the broad DeZURIK lineup and provides new opportunities to solve customer’s most complex challenges. We are dedicated to making this transition as smooth as possible for team members and customers across both organizations.”

Red Valve is a global leader for innovative elastomers, pinch valves, check valves and engineered mixing systems. The two main brands in its current portfolio are Red Valve and Tideflex. DeZURIK acquired APCO and Willamette in 2011 and HILTON Valve Inc. in 2012.
