New models and systems could improve productivity
Moving more rock and coal safely is the key to success for any surface mining operation. Two of the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that design and build hydraulic shovels, Hitachi and Liebherr, made major announcements recently. In addition to those announcements, Cat has developed a new snubber for rope shovels and a hydraulic hose supplier has developed a new system for hump hose replacement.
