Dynatrol DJ Bulk Solids Level Switch is designed for high-, mid-, or low-point level detection. Made from high-strength stainless steel its rugged design easily handles abrasive materials and ensures the most reliable level measurement. It works well in dusty environments and in vessels equipped with vibrators. Use in bins or tanks for problem applications including coal, rock, crushed stone, ore, talc mine, crushed dolomite, and coal dust, as well as lightweight aggregates: clay, pumice, perlite, vermiculite, etc.
The DJ Level Detector relies on mechanical oscillations to determine if the probe is covered or uncovered. Signals from the Detector operate a single pole double throw relay within the control unit. The relay contacts can actuate alarms, indicator lights or process control equipment.
