2023-ESG-Cover-minWarrior Met Coal’s 2023 sustainability report details the company’s commitment to sustainability principles. Some of the highlights from the report’s highlights include a total incidence rate 52% lower than the national average for underground coal mines. It also achieved a 13% reduction in total Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, as well as a 16% reduction in methane emissions compared to its 2021 baseline. Warrior Met completed a state-of-the-art dry slurry system two years ahead of schedule. The company also increased training opportunities for employees, adopted a commitment to diversity from the top down and donated more than $1 million to charitable organizations.
