The stage one terminal cost more than US$1 billion and can ship up to 30 million metric tons per year (mtpy). Aurecon Hatch completed the pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, detailed design, engineering, procurement and construction management services for Stage 1 of the coal export terminal project. The company has now been retained to provide detail design early works for Stage 2AA, which will expand the terminal’s capacity to 53 million mtpy.
