In its third-quarter earnings report, PT Adaro Energy said it produced 14.9 million metric tons (mt) and sold 15.5 million mt, a 5% increase and 9% increase year-on-year, respectively.

The company cited improved weather conditions as the reason for the increase. Adaro’s year-to-date coal production was nearly 40 million mt for the first nine months of 2018, about the same as last year.
