Colombia suspends Drummond’s loading operations

According to this provision all ports, begiining January 1, 2014, are required to load ships using conveyors to avoid the risk of contamination and spills to the sea. The government has sought to tighten regulations for exporters after a Drummond barge sank, dumping coal into the Caribbean in Q4 2012.
