During the first half of 2014, Eickhoff’s Mining Technology Division sold an additional five shearer loaders for longwall mining to the Datong Coal Mine Group Co. Ltd. With these five new Eickhoff SL 500s, Datong’s fleet now increases to a total of 30 Eickhoff shearer loaders. Since buying its first Eickhoff shearer, Datong has grown to be one of the top five main coal producers in China.
