Oracle eAM was implemented at numerous recently acquired Massey Energy prep plants and existing Alpha sites. The system was implemented with the existing Oracle E-Business Suite applications and asset management tools.
Global PTM identified the best approach for implementing the newly acquired sites into the Oracle eAM environment, which allowed Alpha to standardize its maintenance processes leveraging the Oracle eAM solution. This effort included the development of an implementation timeline, staffing plan and schedule to ensure proper system configurations, interfaces, application set-ups and initial testing. A train-the-trainer approach created and led by Global PTM provided user training for the core project team prior to the go-live launch.
As a result of the Oracle eAM implementation, Alpha successfully standardized a company-wide maintenance system that provides improved business intelligence reporting and analysis capabilities.
