Liebherr appointed Shane Kuhlmey as director of its Mining Equipment Division, based in Newport News, Virginia. He will be responsible for all aspects of the mining division for Liebherr USA Co. In his role, he will oversee the sales and service groups located in Gillette, Wyoming; Elko, Nevada; and Kearny, Arizona, and will be responsible for the development of sales and pricing strategies for mining products sold in the United States, which include haul trucks, excavators and crawler tractors for open cast mining operations.
