During mid-September, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited Kiev, where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski offered to help Poland deal with its energy crisis through additional coal supplies, according to the Warsaw Voice. “We have sufficient coal reserves, so we can help our Polish brothers prepare for this winter, Zelenski said, announcing that he had instructed the government to work out the possibility of urgently supplying Poland with 100,000 tons of coal.
