According to Wyoming DEQ, the 2014 State of Wyoming Reclamation Award illustrates Thunder Basin Coal’s voluntary commitment to enhance the science of reclamation.
“We’re proud of the extraordinary efforts the employees of Thunder Basin have taken to protect wildlife on mine property,” said Paul A. Lang, Arch Coal executive vice president and chief operating officer. “One of the ways Thunder Basin exhibits our strong commitment to neighborly practices is through such innovative mine reclamation efforts.”
