Rhino Resource Partners reported a net loss of $18.7 million and Adjusted EBITDA of $6.7 million, compared to a net loss of $3.8 million and Adjusted EBITDA of $4.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2016. Approximately $22.6 million of asset impairment charges impacted the net loss for the quarter ended December 31, 2017, Rhino said.

In the fourth quarter of 2017, revenue and adjusted EBITDA improved year-over-year, according to Rick Boone, president and CEO of Rhino.
