Russia will export high-quality mineral coal from the Zyryanovskoe deposit in Siberia to China starting from August. According to Itar-TASS, an agreement was signed in the Siberian city of Yakutsk at the end of May. The agreement outlines the terms, the volume and the prices of the supplies. In the first year, China will receive up to 30,000 metric tons of Russian coal, but it is planned to increase this volume up to 550,000 metric tons a year by 2016.
