The PRBSA said this week that this year’s event will be held August 13-14 at Gillette College Technical Education Center. The event also includes a Rescue Golf event on August 12 at the Gillette Country Club.
The competition is limited to the first 12 registering teams, and those teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one team from each mine site is permitted to register.
The PRBSA said that the competition will be made up of two segments over two days, with the practical portion held on the first day and the field portion on the second day. The organization will conduct the contest, including designing the problem and selecting judges.
