Officials at SunCoke Energy Inc. have announced production of a little more than 1 million tons of coke in the first quarter of 2013, a slight decline year-on-year, mostly due to leap year last year. Slower production at the Indiana Harbor facility was partly offset by higher production at Middletown. SunCoke has combined its Jewell Coke and other domestic coke segments into one segment called Domestic Coke from operational similarities and integrated contracts.
