A company spokesperson said that the company has leased a 300,000-square-foot building to house its service parts and components for the underground and surface mining machines it produces.

The facility was chosen for its proximity to air and ground transportation, the spokesperson said, and will become the OEM’s largest distribution center in the world when it opens its doors next month.

Joy projects 75 to 100 workers will be on the Oak Creek payroll; the facility will operate 24/7 and distribute worldwide.
