The CO readings have declined and are trending down. Mine level management is working with federal and state officials to evaluate and correct the situation. It is expected that mining activity will resume after it is determined that conditions are safe and the Mine Safety and Health Administration has approved a plan to re-enter the mine.
Foresight Energy does not expect any coal delivery interruptions; sufficient inventory exists at the mine and no impacts to customers are expected.
