As previously reported on July 30, 2012, production was halted due to a structural failure on its newly installed above-ground conveyor system at the Bailey preparation plant, which processes coal from those mines. The first of two collapsed belts was returned to service today, August 23, enabling the mines to operate at an estimated 60% of capacity. Rail shipments also commenced today. The company expects to resume full production the week of September 3, when replacement of the second collapsed belt is completed.
