The new supply deal extends through 2029, though no annual tonnage totals were released.

“We are excited about this unique 15-year partnership with our largest customer,” BRP Executive Chairman John Siegel said.

Bowie has also acquired 50 million tons of undeveloped reserves in the state from a PacifiCorp subsidiary. The location of the reserves, which are high heat and low sulfur, was not disclosed.

BRP, one of the largest producers in the Western Bituminous region, currently has four underground mines in Utah and Colorado.
