Komatsu announced its Mining Technology Solutions team, which is comprised of experts from across its businesses and will focus on rapid technology advancement. With the development, MineWare will be discontinued and its Argus and Pegasys solutions will become part of the Modular Mining portfolio.
The Mining Technology Solutions team developed the new Intellimine Synergy open-technology platform, released at MINExpo. It will be part of the Modular Mining portfolio. Intellimine Synergy will offer customers a single source of actionable insights through an open-technology platform that brings together data from all relevant sources, Komatsu said.
“The number of our data sources available to our customers now can be overwhelming,” said Jeffrey Dawes, CEO, mining, Komatsu. “So, we set out to provide a solution that seeks to cut through the noise, to provide a single source of real-time information that can assist, automate, and help optimize the important decisions customers make every day.”
