Arcoplate, a wear-resistant fused-alloy steel plate, is a two-part total solution to wear and material hang-up issues. The plate’s micro-structure allows for superior performance. A smooth dense, alloy chromium-carbide rich overlay layer is made up of an abundance of strong carbides embedded in a tough matrix. With this layer being created using a patented single pass computerized process, a stronger metallurgical bond is formed, eliminating some of the major drawbacks associated with other welded overlay wear solutions. Arcoplate, according to the manufacturer, is proven to outlast traditional wear liner solutions by as much as 10 times.
