The World Coal Association appointed Glenn Kellow, president and CEO of Peabody, as chairman. Kellow has more than 30 years of experience in the global resources industry. He joined Peabody in September 2013 and in 2015 was appointed president and CEO. Kellow has held chief executive leadership, operating or financial roles in global businesses in coal, copper, nickel, aluminium, steel, oil and gas. Kellow replaces Mick Buffier of Glencore whose term as WCA chairman came to an end in May.
