Calvin R. Kidd, with Quaker Houghton, has retired after serving the coal industry for 53 years. He joined Quaker Chemical immediately following MINExpo 2012 as director for business development in the Mining Division. A Calvin Kidd Fellowship Award was established in 2006 and is awarded annually by WVU Mining Engineering Department, and he was inducted into the WV Coal Hall of Fame in 2015.
