Patriot Coal Corp. announced Robb E. Turner and John F. (Jake) Erhard will step down from the board of directors. Turner and Erhard are both representatives of ArcLight Capital Partners and joined Patriot’s board following the acquisition of Magnum Coal in 2008.


Fenner Dunlop Americas has appointed Mark Hardwick COO. After 23 years with Fenner Dunlop, Jim Gann will retire from his position as COO. He will assist Hardwick during his transition.


Strongwell Corporation has appointed G. David Oakley Jr. president and CEO. He replaces John D. Tickle. Tickle will remain involved in the business as chairman of the board of directors. A. Keith Liskey, who has served as executive vice president and COO since 1993, and who has been an officer and a director, will retire from full-time involvement with the company at the end of March. He will remain active with the company on a part-time basis as senior adviser through 2014.


Wood Group Surface Pumps has realigned its Western Hemisphere sales group to better support its customers and to consolidate U.S. and Canada sales into two new teams. Tony Ford has been promoted to SPS surface pumping systems sales manager, south region; Todd Vencill has been promoted to sales manager, north region; Dan Brock will lead North American distribution sales; and Manuel Alfaro will continue to lead SPS sales activities in Latin America, with Carlos Coronado in Peru and Luiz Mayer in Brazil.
