Regrettably, the June edition of Coal Age ran an article incorrectly announcing promotions of United Central staff members. Coal Age combined the staff promotions of United Central with the staff promotions of The United Company. Darrell Cole is president and CEO of United Central Industrial Supply and United Central Industrial Supply is in no way affiliated with The United Company.

United Central Industrial Supply has promoted Henry E. Looney to senior vice president. In his role, Looney will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for United Central’s North American mining and industrial business including its two subsidiary companies, National Mine Service of Canada and Gooding Rubber, Inc. Additionally, Christopher P. McClendon has joined United Central as vice president of materials management.
