The Opening Session, which is a new feature for MINExpo, will feature CEOs Richard Adkerson of Freeport-McMoRan Copper and Gold, Gregory Boyce of Peabody Energy, Richard O’Brien of Newmont Mining Corp. and Michael Sutherlin of Joy Global, Inc. Sutherlin is also chair of MINExpo INTERNATIONAL 2012. Noted author and international trade expert Jeffrey Garten of the Yale University School of Management will moderate the panel discussion beginning at 10 a.m. in Room S223 of the Convention Center.
