The official, according to Russian news agency TASS, said he wants to keep the country’s export dynamics for this year.
“In Russia we have an average of 6% (per six months),” he said.
Kemerovo Gov. Aman Tuleey added that production of coal in his region, the largest in the country, may hit 220 million mt this year, a 2% increase over last year. Last year the Kuzbass, the heart of the coal-rich area where 59% of Russian coal output originates, reported a total 215.8 million mt.
