McLanahan’s interest will be represented by Prabudha “Ron” Thakurta, who will serve as director, spending significant amounts of time in India while engaging customers for all processing needs. McLanahan’s partner, NAWA Engineers, is a third-generation family-owned business based in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India.

NAWA has a staff of 260 with two offices and three manufacturing facilities in and around Hyderabad. The company serves the aggregate industry with core products including crushers, vibrating screens and screw classifiers. The joint venture will allow the company to further expand into the South Asian market while providing for opportunities in the aggregate industry.

McLanahan Corp. supplies processing solutions in the mineral and aggregate industries. McLanahan also manufactures polymer wear parts along with machinery services. Founded in 1835, the company is headquartered in Hollidaysburg, Pa. McLanahan also has locations throughout the U.K. and Australia, and across the U.S.
