ESCO engineers, working with Cloud Peak, enhanced an already-proven design sold in Latin America and Asia Pacific, creating a lighter body using a unique curved tail to increase payloads to 250 tons. Fabricators at ESCO’s supply and service site in Wright, Wyo., built the first-of-its-kind truck body to meet Cloud Peak’s requirements.
Within its design, said Cloud Peak’s Asset Management Director Mark Gilbertson, “ESCO was able to understand and incorporate all key features Cloud Peak needed to meet our production requirements.”
