Commenting on the award, CPSA President and James River Vice President of Preparation Robert W. Hollis said, “While the scholarship honors the memory of one of our founding members, it is we who are honored to have been blessed by the leadership and enthusiasm of one who truly was a world expert in coal preparation. It is fitting that we remember Bill in this way, in fulfilling CPSA’s founding principle to further the knowledge of coal preparation by directly contributing to the education of tomorrow’s industry leaders.”
