The global boom in mineral and coal mining is creating a massive event. In a press release this week, the NMA announced current exhibit space sales are 18% ahead of the record-breaking 2008 numbers—making the 2012 show the largest mining exposition in history.
“MINExpo gives us the opportunity every four years to bring together all aspects of the industry—people, products and services—in one huge demonstration of capability,” said Joy Global Inc.’s President and CEO Mike Sutherlin, MINExpo International’s chairman.
