Coal Age will recognize the three top U.S. longwall mines with its Top Performers Award at the 2015 Longwall USA Keynote luncheon on Wednesday June 17, at the Pittsburgh Convention Center. NMA President and CEO Hal Quinn will deliver the Keynote Address, “The Changing Political Landscape in Washington and Its Impact on Coal.” Following his speech, Coal Age will present bronze medallions to three longwall mining operations based on seam height that have safely posted the highest productivity and overall production figures for 2013 and 2014. This is a great chance to meet longwall miners and learn about what’s happening in Washington, D.C.
