Ground Force Worldwide, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corp., announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all the assets and operations of TowHaul Corp. Located in Belgrade Montana, USA, TowHaul has been designing and manufacturing heavy-duty, off-road specialty mining support equipment, including its signature front-  and rear-loading lowboy trailers, for more than 40 years.

With customers in more than 70 countries, Ground Force is a leading designer and manufacturer of specialty material handling vehicles that support mining, with its current product portfolio including fuel and lube trucks, water trucks, dump bodies and rock spreaders.

“It is an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to combine two world-class brands, TowHaul and Ground Force, leverage their unique strengths and capabilities and deliver a comprehensive suite of products and services to our shared customers,” Ground Force President Luke Stavros said. “We expect TowHaul and Ground Force to strongly complement each other in the marketplace, and jointly execute on a number of synergistic growth opportunities.”

TowHaul will now be marketed and distributed under the Ground Force portfolio.
