CONSOL Energy named James A. “Jimmy” Brock to lead the company’s new master limited partnership, CNX Coal Resources LP. Brock was previously COO of CONSOL Energy’s coal division. He began his career with the company in 1979 at the Matthews mine. Also, Lorraine L. Ritter was appointed CFO and chief accounting officer of the MLP’s general partner. Additionally, Martha A. Wiegand was named general counsel and secretary.

Patriot Coal Corp. appointed Robert W. Bennett as new president and CEO. Previously, he served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Ben Hatfield resigned his position as president and CEO of Patriot in early April.
Westmoreland Coal Co. promoted John Schadan from executive vice president to president of its Canadian operations.

Teck Resources appointed Andrew Stonkus as senior vice president, marketing and sales. He joined Teck in 1988 and most recently held the position of vice president, base metals marketing.
Robert Gough has resigned as CFO of Coalspur, a Canadian coal producer. Gillian Winckler, executive director and CEO, has agreed to take over the CFO responsibilities for the company.
Ken Roberts joined the flotation division at Eriez as director of sales for North America. Roberts has held a number of senior management roles at FLSmidth, Outotec and Knelson Gravity Solutions (now FLS) in the last decade.

After 37 years at Motion Industries, Chairman Bill Stevens recently retired. Tim Breen, who has served as the company’s President and CEO will succeed Stevens.
Jim Linden joined the Lockton St. Louis mining practice as assistant vice president/senior claims consultant. Most recently, he acted as director of risk management for Patriot Coal.
