Honeywell to Acquire Matrikon

Honeywell recently  announced it has signed a $142 million agreement to acquire Matrikon, a company specializing in software that helps industrial manufacturers operate their plants safely, reliably and efficiently. Matrikon will be integrated into Honeywell Process Solutions, which is part of Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions business group.

URS to Provide Coal Ash Management for TVA

URS Corp. has been selected by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to provide coal ash management services at five TVA coal plants in Tennessee and Alabama—Colbert, Widows Creek, Gallatin, Bull Run, and John Sevier.
