Pewaukee, Wis.-based Waukesha Bearings acquired Inpro/Seal Co., located in Rock Island, Ill. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. “After much consideration, I felt Waukesha Bearings was the best strategic fit for Inpro/Seal. As leaders in our respective markets, Waukesha and Inpro/Seal share similar value propositions of delivering premium technology and superior service to our customers,” said David Orlowski, Inpro/Seal founder. The acquisition of Inpro/Seal adds adjacent product lines to Waukesha’s bearing solutions for oil and gas and power generation markets. The Inpro/Seal brand has been highly successful in North America, and the addition of Waukesha’s global footprint provides opportunities for growth internationally. Waukesha Bearings designs and manufactures engineered hydrodynamic and magnetic bearings for high-performing turbomachinery. Typical applications include gas, steam and hydro turbines, centrifugal gas compressors, gearboxes, pumps and motors. Established in 1977, Inpro/Seal designs and manufactures bearing isolators for a broad range of rotating equipment applications. |
