Fairchild International is now offering an On Board Rock Duster Bucket for its 35C Scoop Series and all additional makes and models of underground scoops. The On Board Rock Duster Bucket is equipped with a built-in compartment to accommodate a rock dusting system supplied by TDT, LLC. Having an on-board rock duster bucket offers many benefits to mine operators, including easy compliance with new federal and state rock dusting regulations; ability to clean and spread rock dust in one trip without having to load a separate rock duster; greater visibility compared to a traditional scoop flinger rock dusting system; and elimination of the need to apply dust by hand. The rock duster compartment location is conveniently recessed behind the scoop bucket back plate and is designed to work with the TDT rock dusting system that includes a blower and large-capacity tank.
