Mark Englert, vice president/CEO of Gillette College, nominated Cloud Peak Energy on behalf of the Northern Wyoming Community College District (NWCCD). “Cloud Peak Energy is one of our strongest industry partners,” wrote Englert in his nomination letter. “Their support to the college district has been invaluable and has been exhibited in many forms. Cloud Peak Energy has provided technical assistance, financial support, and donations of materials and equipment.”

The award was presented at ATEA’s National Conference on Technical Education at the Crowne Plaza in St. Paul. ATEA was founded in 1928 with a dedication to excellence in quality of postsecondary technical education with emphasis on professional development.
